Less than an hour after UConn lost its showdown against No. 1 South Carolina in the inaugural Women’s Battle 4 Atlantis Championship, the Huskies got a recruiting win with their first commitment from the Class of 2023.
Five-star point guard Kamorea “KK” Arnold announced her verbal commitment to UConn on Monday afternoon. Arnold, from Germantown, Wisconsin, is the No. 8 overall player in her class and chose UConn over Baylor, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Marquette, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, UNC and Wisconsin.
