This weekend, Nutmeggers can see famous rappers take center stage, as well as chow down on some Italian food or make an ice cream run.

Sean Kingston headlined Alive@Five in downtown Stamford on July 12, 2018. Were you SEEN?
Famed rapper Sean Kingston will be singing his hits like "Beautiful Girls" at Toad's Place on Sunday.

Lincoln Carew leads his mom, Ashley Carew, and grandmother, Karen Hogancamp, through the sunflower maze near L&A Family Farms just south of Paris in Illinois. A seemingly endless field of sunflowers is in bloom in east central Illinois, a golden spectacle that’s drawing families from all corners of the Wabash Valley and beyond.
Lyman Orchards is inviting guests to explore its maze of over 350,000 yellow, orange and red sunflowers until Aug. 28.
"Pippin" tells the story of a young prince seeking happiness. The play is running at the Playhouse on Park until Aug. 21.

Guests at the Connecticut Science Center can meet exotic wildlife like alligators during the show, which happens every weekend until Aug. 28.

The rock band, known for hits like "All I Want" and "Last Chance To Dance," will be making a stop at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Friday.
Guests can visit the Mill Hill Historic Park's new exhibit “Norwalk’s Changing Communities: 13,000BC – 1835” to learn about the past every weekend until Sept. 4.

The Walnut Beach Ice Cream Run took place on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021. The annual 5K and half-mile walk at Walnut Beach in Milford, Conn. benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Milford. Participants received ice cream from nearby Walnut Beach Creamery upon completion of the event. Were you SEEN?
Guests will be able to enjoy Walnut Beach Creamery ice cream and run a 5K at Walnut Beach on Saturday.
Contestants will face off to see who can make the best sand sculpture on Saturday at Walnut Beach.

The Grammy award-winning guitarist, known for songs like "Lucky" and "Make It Mine," will be performing at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Saturday.

The Warner Stage Company will present "Matilda the Musical" on the Main Stage, July 30-Aug. 14.
This play tells the story of a girl who "dares to take a stand and change her own destiny." It will take the stage of the Warner Theatre on Sunday.
Breweries like Firefly Hollow, Elicit Brewing Co., Housatonic River Brewing and Labyrinth Brewing will be serving drinks at the Municipal Building lawn on Saturday.

The Crusader Players Theatre Club is staging the musical The Pajama Game March 8-10, 2019 at Trinity Catholic High School, 926 Newfield Ave., Stamford, Conn.
"The Pajama Game," which is a comedy that explores the dangers of a workplace romance, will be playing at Curtain Call until Aug. 13.
This free event on Sunday hosts performances by award-winning musicians like Chris Cerrone, Paul Frucht, John Williams and John Corigliano, as well as food vendors at The Ridgefield Playhouse.

Connecticut Science Center
The Connecticut Science Center is teaching visitors fire prevention methods and how to stay safe in case of a fire on Friday and Saturday.
The Sharon Historical Society and Museum is displaying a collection of 55 early American samplers, which were sown by school-aged girls between the early 1700s and mid-1800s, until Oct. 15.

Norwalk's Maritime Aquarium will open a new butterfly exhibit on May 28. The "Flutter Zone," is a walk-through exhibit in a floral habitat on the aquarium's riverfront courtyard.
The Maritime Aquarium will be hosting a habitat filled with colorful butterflies that guests can walk through. The "Flutter Zone" will be available until Sept. 5.

The Glass House in New Canaan was designed by Philip Johnson, one of "The Harvard Five."
The Glass House is featuring a new exhibition of paintings and videos that explore life at the turn of the century. The exhibit will be on display until Nov. 15.

Grace Farms is letting visitors experiment with new materials and art-making techniques every Saturday until Nov 30.

Gov. Ned Lamont in early August 2021 at the Submarine Force Museum in Groton, Conn, a short distance up the Thames River from the Electric Boat subsidiary of General Dynamics has been hiring hundreds of people this year.
