Darien football bumps Ludlowe behind four TDs from Jake Wilson

Jake Wilson reached the end zone four times and the Darien football team captured its third straight win by beating Ludlowe 35-25 Friday night in Fairfield.

The Blue Wave is now 4-2 after dropping two of its first three games, and will host Greenwich (5-1) at 1:30 p.m., Saturday.

Against Ludlowe, Wilson had 189 yards from scrimmage, rushing 24 times for 168 yards and three touchdowns, and catching one pass for a 21-yard TD.

Brady Pokorny had five receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown, Isaac McMullin had five catches for 40 yards, and Trevor Herget had two catches for 39 yards.

On defense, Layton Reesor and JD Brennan had eight tackles apiece, Rob Maclehose had seven tackles and an interception, and Dashiell Ross had six tackles. Jack Barber, Jack Silsby and Walker Brown each had a sack.
