'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi Find Buyer for Pasadena Mansion

After multiple price cuts, the palatial Pasadena, CA, property owned by “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne and her husband, Tom Girardi, has finally found a buyer.

Initially on the market in 2021 for $13 million, the mansion came with the added complexity of a bankruptcy sale. With buyers reluctant to step up, the price was cut numerous times before landing at $7.5 million in June.

The property is now under contract, according to Compass listing agent Heather Lillard, who represents the property with Ted Clark.

Finish line in sight?

There's one additional step before the sale can be completed, and it involves bankruptcy court.

“There will be a court confirmation required, which is subject to overbid. When the buyers' contingencies are removed, that information will be posted in the MLS,” says Clark.

Girardi and his law firm face accusations of mishandling funds marked for victims of the Lion Air Flight 610, which forced him into bankruptcy.

The lawyer purchased the property in 1980 for $1.3 million, according to Realtor.com®. Jayne split from Girardi in 2020 and moved out of the elegant abode.

Standout estate

Real estate drama aside, the home is a knockout. Earlier this year, we spoke with area real estate agents to find out why it hadn’t been snapped up.

The residence familiar to reality TV watchers was built in 1928 by architect Myron Hubbard Hunt. It's set on nearly 2 serene acres that overlook the Colorado Street Bridge.

“This incredible estate offers the rare opportunity to own a true piece of Pasadena history," notes the listing. And it seems the estate is finally ready for its next chapter.
