SEBEWAING — The resurgent season for the Owendale-Gagetown softball team continued, Tuesday.

The Bulldogs shutout Harbor Beach 2-0 in the Division 4 district opener.

They did all of their damage in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Libby Ondrajka delivered an RBI groundout, to drive in Maddy Haldane.

Monee Schember followed that up with a run-scoring single, which drove in Kaitlyn LaCroix.

That was all the support Haldane needed in the circle, as she threw a five-hitter, striking out three.

Jessica Weber and Jenna Guza each had two hits for the Pirates.

Kenzie Knoblock allowed just three hits and struck out eight in the tough luck loss.
