Gunpoint robbery reported in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday night on Salem Street near Madison Avenue.

The victim was robbed at gunpoint on the street by a black man wearing a ski mask, police said.

The victim was not injured and it wasn’t immediately known what items or cash was taken.
