To the Editor:

The 2021 Connecticut Legislative Session has begun. Changes to Connecticut zoning will be among the thousands of proposed pieces of legislation submitted this session. On Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. Darien Talks Housing “Understanding the Components of proposed zoning changes” will host Sara Bronin the leader and founder of Desegregate CT. She will discuss Desegregate CT’s 2021 Platform.

Desegregate CT’s Platform includes: accessory dwelling units, model codes for buildings and streets, reduced parking mandates, commissioner training, housing on main streets, transit oriented development, and 21st century technical standards.

This is a unique opportunity for Darien residents to meet virtually with a zoning expert and gain an understanding of these proposals and their effects on Darien if passed. To register: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_TiiaPwk8R2G7WMgFW4QTtw

Please contact us at darientalkshousing@gmail.com with questions for Sara Bronin. We look forward to seeing you on Feb. 4.
