Salvatore Forlenzo IV of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Darien, died Friday, June 15, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise. He was 50.

Born Sept. 2, 1961, in Stamford, he was the son of Nora H. Forlenzo of Darien and the late Salvatore Forlenzo III.

Mr. Forlenzo graduated from Darien High School in 1979 and the University of Connecticut in 1983. He worked for DirecTV in sales.

“He had a great passion for the Boise State Broncos, New York Yankees, rugby and biking,” his family said. “He also loved to travel and explore the great outdoors.”

Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Daniel Forlenzo of Norwalk; a sister, Noreen Forlenzo of Darien; a sister-in-law, Dianne Volpe Forlenzo; and a nephew, Brandon Forlenzo. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark P. Forlenzo.

Calling hours are Thursday, June 21, 4-8, at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road. A Mass of Christian Burial and entombment will be private.
