Lois Williams Adams, 84, of Milford, wife of the late Donald Q. Adams, died Aug. 31, at West River Health Care Center. Daughter of the late Alton T. and Dorothea D. Williams, she was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Stamford.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Olmstead, Jeffrey Street, Sr. and Daniel Adams (Jane), grandchildren, Greer, Maeve, Tesse, Jeffrey, Jr., Erin, Peter, Jeremiah, Madelyne, Caroline and Jeremy, and great-grandchildren, Lilly, Owen, Lea, Alexander, and Jaylinn.

She was also predeceased by three brothers, Kenneth, Richard, and Melvin, and by a grandson, Tucker Olmstead, and a great-granddaughter, Bella Johnson.

A life-long resident of Darien, prior to moving to Milford in 1999, Mrs. Adams was employed for many years at the New Canaan Medical Group, and was retired from American Tobacco, Inc. She volunteered for several years at Milford City Hall and through her love of jazz was an active member of Milford Fine Arts.

Arrangements are being handled by the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Memorial services will be private.
