Lisa Charron Taylor (nee Cardone), a long-time resident of Darien, died on Thursday, Feb. 19, at Norwalk Hospital.  She was 48.

She was born on May 6, 1966 to Albert and Jeanne Cardone in Malverne, New York, where she lived until 1975, when she and her family moved to New Canaan. Ms. Taylor attended the New Canaan schools and was a member of the class of 1984.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Marymount College in 1988, and later completed a professional certificate program at Fairfield University in Interior Design.

Ms. Taylor is survived by her two children: Beau and Breck Taylor of Darien.  She is also survived by her father Albert Cardone and his wife Beverly of New Canaan; her sisters Cynthia of Clinton, Nancy (and husband Bill) of Jupiter, Florida, Jeanne (and husband Chris) of Dover, Massachusetts, Patricia (and husband Paul) of Ridgefield, and Victoria (and husband Martin) of Washington DC; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her mother, Jeanne Cardone.

Friends and family will remember Lisa for her quick wit, big smile, and wild fire spirit, they said.  She was happiest when she was enjoying family and friends beachside, poolside or boatside.

The family is grateful to the staff of Norwalk Hospital and the Darien Emergency Medical Services Post 53 team.
