Dr. Patricia Otis Cook, 74, of Darien, CT, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2018 following complications of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Cook was an exceedingly well-regarded clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who served the community over an astounding 43 years of practice at her offices in Darien and Bridgeport. She was a brilliant, loving mother and beloved grandmother.
Patricia was born in Fulton, NY to Charles Robert Otis, Jr. and Helen McNeill Otis; a star student, she was valedictorian of her high school and a dazzling pianist. She then moved to Cambridge, MA to attend Radcliffe; she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1965 with a B.A. in Social Relations, then in 1967 received her M.Ed. in School Psychology and her Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology in 1970. Although she completed her pre- and post-doctoral internships at Yale, all three of her degrees were from Harvard University.
