Holmes students visit with animals, play bingo

Third graders at Holmes Elementary enjoyed a visit with Chris Evers from Animal Embassy on Friday, Jan. 12. The students got to meet a variety of exotic animals — the African bullfrog, crested gecko, red eyed tree frog, American alligator, wood turtle, chinchillas and two different types of ducks (wood and Mandarin). Evers discussed the unique characteristics that allow the animals to adapt to challenges and how to survive in their environments.

Holmes School fourth graders Jack Lubeley, Tommy Galligan and Jack Bryer enjoyed Bingo Night in the school's gymnasium.
