Early this morning, Darien Police said that High School Lane would be closed as a result of downed power lines. Those on their way to DHS were advised to take Noroton Avenue or Nutmeg Lane, and school opened as usual.

This morning, power at DHS temporarily went out as a result of the downed lines. Superintendent Dr. Dan Brenner said that power has been restored. The school day is proceding on a normal schedule.

Darien police also issued an update following the weekend storm that left flooding and downed lines all around Darien.
