Two Darien residents reported that their unlocked cars had been burglarized overnight on March 13. A Holmes Court resident told police that the front passenger door of the resident’s car was found ajar in the morning with the contents of the glove box on the front seat. During a canvass of the area police discovered that another car had been entered on Holmes Avenue.

The resident there said a diaper bag, several gift cards and a pair of sunglasses worth $160 were taken from inside the car. In both cases the car was left unlocked in the driveway overnight.
