State police arrested a man and woman for possession of crack cocaine, heroin and illegal firearms on Feb. 4.

Police stopped the pair on I-95 just before midnight for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the occupants police were led to believe that there were narcotics inside the vehicle, prompting a search with the help of a K9 officer.

Inside the car officers discovered crack cocaine, raw heroin and other drug paraphernalia, along with a pair of handguns. The two individuals in the car were identified as Sarah Allen, 28, and William Page, 29, both of whom had past felony convictions.

Due to their previous convictions they received additional charges for criminal possession of a firearm and ammunition as well as carrying a pistol without a permit and illegal transfer of a firearm. For the narcotics they were charged with possession of crack with intent to sell and possession of heroin.

The pair was held on $150,000 bond each and appeared in court this morning, Feb. 5.
