Early Saturday a.m. accident in Darien on I-95 near exit 12 destroys car, but no life-threatening injuries
In an accident that was described as looking a "lot worse than it was," Darien first responders were called to an accident on I-95 northbound at Exit 12 that occurred at about 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Darien Fire Department and Darien Police responded to secure the scene for further EMS and state police.
Darien Fire Department Assistant Chief Shane Smith, Darien Police Captain Don Anderson, and Fire Marshal Bob Buch said aside from the initial reports, not much more was known about the accident other than there were suprisingingly no life-threatening injuries. State Police did not have any further details
