The following incidents were reported to police between Jan. 1 and Jan. 8.
Motor vehicle burglary reported on Overbrook Road
An Overbrook Road resident reported that her car was burglarized while she was away for the holiday season. She told police she left her car parked in her driveway from Dec. 26 to Dec. 31 and found that $10 in loose change was missing when she returned. The victim told police she believed her car was locked but the door was found ajar and there were no signs of forced entry.
Smash and grab burglary at Old Kings Highway Tennis Club
Police are investigating a motor vehicle burglary reported at Old Kings Highway Tennis Club on Jan. 7. The complainant parked his car at about 10:30 a.m. and returned at noon to find that his rear window had been smashed. Six months worth of pay stubs had been taken from the glove box along with two empty bank bags. The vehicle had been locked and no other burglaries were reported in the area.
Missing jewelry reported
An Allen O’Neill drive resident reported a pair of earrings and a gold braided ring valued at $550 together were taken from a drawer in her bathroom. The woman reported the missing items on Jan. 4 and last saw the pieces of jewelry on Dec. 19. Police are continuing their investigation.
