Another catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked in Darien. On Oct. 2, at 3:36 p.m., a resident said a catalytic converter had been removed from his brother-in-law’s vehicle, a 2006 Honda CRV, while it was parked at 23 Old Kings Highway South. The resident had been driving the vehicle, and had parked it at that address.

The complainant observed something hanging from the bottom of the vehicle. Upon further inspection, he observed the catalytic converter had been cut off and stolen. The value of the stolen part was estimated at $1,200. Catalytic converters were recently stolen from cars parked on Corbin Drive and behind the Darien Sport Shop.
