DARIEN - The town's superintendent of schools is quarantining after his spouse tested positive for COVID-19 this week. Alan Addley said his spouse tested positive for the virus on Monday. Addley said in a statement to families Wednesday that he has tested negative for the virus, but has started a 14-day quarantine. "I am feeling well and following the directions from the CDC, district protocols and my physician," Addley said. He said he will take another test before returning to work on Dec. 1. "Inevitably, as a community, we will continue to experience positive cases and many people and families will experience periods of quarantine," Addley said. "I encourage everyone to remain vigilant in practicing health and safety measures that will keep the community safe and our schools open."
