YWCA hosted its third annual “Dazzling Decadent December,” on Tuesday, Dec.  4 at Kirby & Company owned by Elaine Kirby McCleary. David Wagner, owner of SipStirs (took over the space from Nicholas Roberts) provided wine for guests to enjoy as they shopped and mingled. “This was our largest turnout for Dazzling to date,” said Executive Director Judy Phillips. “It’s wonderful to have so many of our members and non-members come and shop and help raise money for our Parent Awareness Program.”

The event had numerous raffle items including gift certificates to Dr. Passaretti, J.McLaughlin, new to the neighborhood, the Bar Method, Darien Butcher Shop, SipStirs plus many others. One of the bigger winners of the evening was State Representative, Darien native and long-time supporter or the YWCA, Terrie Wood.  This years YWCA Board of directors was there in full force also to shop and represent the organization. This years President Aidan Welsh said she was excited to be working with many new board members that are bringing so many fresh and interesting ideas together for the YWCA.
