Stamford law firm Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey has named Darien native Liam Burke partner as of Jan. 1. Burke joins two other recently named partners – Deborah R. Brancato and Todd R. Michaelis of the firm.

“Deborah, Liam and Todd represent the future of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have them join the partnership,” said Managing Partner Ann Zucke.

Burke practices in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation in Connecticut’s state and federal courts. Burke has experience in a wide range of areas and has experience representing lawyers in grievance defense, ethics and professional responsibility matters.

Burke serves on the board of directors and is a volunteer Preemie Father Mentor at Darien’s Tiny Miracles Foundation. Burke has been selected for inclusion in Connecticut Super Lawyers- Rising Stars edition from 2010-2011 and again from 2013-2018.

Burke, a Darien High School graduate, now lives in Trumbull. He is the son of Darien residents Vin and Lynne Burke.   He earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.S. from The University of Montana.
