Seafood stolen from Darien Whole Foods again
Whole Foods Market employees reported the theft of more than $200 in seafood taken on Sept. 3. Employees contacted police on Sept. 5 and showed them surveillance footage of the suspects. Two black women are seen entering the store, with one of them holding a canvas bag.
One woman entered the freezer section and grabbed three bags of salmon and four bags of shrimp and placed into her bag. The other woman placed three more bags of shrimp into her cart, then handed them to the other woman to put in the bag as well. They then left the store through the main entrance without paying for the food. The total losses were estimated at $203.
