Reminder: Depression talk Thursday night at The Depot youth center
Depression — the silent killer
What are the signs and symptoms of depression? How can I help my child, relative or sibling? How do I protect myself while supporting a person suffering from depression? Answers to these questions and a discussion about depression will be presented by Robert DiRoma.
The second of these programs will be on Thursday, May 31, at 7 p.m. at The Depot. DiRoma specializes in substance and alcohol abuse and mental illness. He has worked as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and licensed social worker, with a master’s degree, for the past 10 years with substance abuse and mental health populations. Some therapeutic techniques Rob provides are CBT, long-term dynamic therapy as well as taking a trauma focused approach dealing with childhood, teen and adult development.
The Depot is at 25 Heights Road. For more information, contact Janice Marzano at 203-655-0812 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
