The 100 Who Care Darien team welcomes the community to its quarterly meeting on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:30 pm at the Darien Community Association. There will be presentations from the first three non- profits:  Groundwork Bridgeport, The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation and the Darien Depot.  Following the presentations, members will vote on which of these three organizations will receive the first 100 Who Care Darien grant.

The group, which was founded in early May,  provides an opportunity for area residents to meet quarterly and vote among local charitable organizations to receive our members' pooled funds.  Each member commits to a $100 donation per meeting, resulting in a $10,000 donation per quarter that helps raise awareness and boost engagement between the community and the local organizations that need our help.

In order to vote at the June 5 meeting, attendees must  sign up on its website at 100whocareDarien.org before 6:30 p.m. on June 5. The group is very close to its 100 member mark and welcomes all to participate.
