Stamford Hospital: Dr. Owlia, cardiologist

This program will be based on the principles of preventive cardiology – the idea that it is preferable to prevent heart disease than cure it. Dr. Owlia will discuss cardiovascular disease prevention, screening and treatment.

Walgreens Pharmacy: Alzheimer’s and dementia

Brian will be here to present information regarding the medication and treatment of Alzheimer’s and Cognitive Dementia.

Cabaret on tour

Cabaret on tour is a trio of experienced musicians who have developed a program from the American Songbook, including favorites such as Just in Time, I Get a Kick Out of You, and A Fine Romance.

Darien Library: Great artists

Every painting has its own story behind it.  Even the choice of brushes and colors used are part of the writing of that story on canvas.  The ladies of Darien Library will take you on a tour of some of the world’s most famous paintings and their background stories.  

Tony Castle and Patsy Shore

This talented duo will present popular songs from Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and More.  Lunch ($5) will be served at noon and entertainment (free of charge) will begin at 12:30.
