The Piedmont Club recently released a new brand image and website at The new image comes as the club hopes to solicit new members, honor their heritage, and preserve their history.

Alongside information about joining, upcoming events, and a photo gallery, the website also features information on the club’s history. Prominently presented on the site, the history page features a short story that describes how the club grew from the 5 original members in 1916 to the thriving club that it is today. Club President Nick DeMaio said “Many people around Darien wonder what our white building off Hecker Ave really is, and it is my hope that this site will show the community what we’re about and how we got here.”

The site also features extensive information on their rental facilities. “The Piedmont Club is truly an underused event space in Darien,” member Jeff DeMaio said, “I hope this website will allow people to see just how flexible the facilities are for weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, holiday parties and more.”

Designed by former Darien resident West Bielstein of Jeff DeMaio A/V Services, the site and logo were both designed to pay homage to the history and heritage of the club. The new image also provides a clean, modern brand that will represent the club for years to come. “They expressed interest in a design that celebrated their heritage but wasn’t stuck in the 20th century. After a number of different renditions, I’m happy with the sleek design we settled on,” Bielstein said.

Today, the Piedmont Club sits at 152 Hecker Avenue and continues to host social gatherings for members of the organization as well as special events for the Darien community, while promoting the Italian and Italian-American heritage. The Piedmont also provides support for many community based programs, youth sports, and a variety of charitable causes.
