Darien’s ‘Homes with Heart’ tour coming in June to benefit many non-profits
The Darien House Tour: Homes with Heart will feature six homes in Darien with lunch at the Tokeneke Club on Thursday, June 8. The event, presented by The First Congregational Church of Darien and made possible by Ring’s End, will benefit local charitable organizations serving the disadvantaged, elderly, and youth.
A primary beneficiary of the House Tour this year the Open Door Shelter’s Building Lives Initiative.
The tour will also benefit the following organizations: At Home in Darien, ABC House, Carver Foundation of Norwalk, Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Family Centers, Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, iicon, INSPIRICA, Laurel House, Liberation Programs, Neighbors Link, New Covenant House, Person-to-Person, Shelter for the Homeless, STAR and The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis and Education.
Last June, more than 500 people attended the House Tour, and over 100 volunteers helped to make the event a success, raising over $60,000 for the beneficiaries. Ring’s End is the lead sponsor. Other sponsors include:
