Darien High School’s Theater 308 has kindly invited Darien seniors to attend the full dress rehearsal of Footloose - The Musical at Darien High School on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm.  Attendance is free and seniors can also enjoy free transportation to and from Darien High School provided by At Home in Darien. The play tells the story of a teenager named Ren MacCormack who moves from a large city in 1984 to a small American town where rock music and dancing have been banned and how his rebellious spirit shakes up the town.

With the help of their professional drivers and volunteers, At Home In Darien has arranged for transportation at approximately 6:30 pm to Darien High School for the 7:00 pm performance.  Seniors can be conveniently picked up at their homes and returned home safely after the show.

Gina Blum, Executive Director of At Home In Darien, commented, “We are delighted to offer this opportunity to Darien seniors.  It is our hope that seniors who don’t drive, prefer not to drive at night, or who might miss the show because they do not have someone to go with, will take advantage of this opportunity.  The evening will be an opportunity for all Darien seniors to socialize and enjoy an entertaining musical.”
