Darien Arts Center's theater program presents 'A Wrinkle in Time' one-act play this weekend
The Theatre Program at the Darien Arts Center will present "A Wrinkle in Time," a one-act play written by Morgan Gould adapted from the novel by Madeline L'Engle. Performances are May 4 at 5 p.m. and May 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
One of literature's most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry joins forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity and find herself.
This one-act production will be presented by an ensemble of driven and talented middle schoolers! While rehearsing for this performance, students have worked to develop character, collaborate creatively as an ensemble and honed their technique.
The cast includes Allyn Roedel, John Lazzara, Alex Baliotti, Anya Napoli, Catalina Correa, Heather Torney, Caitlin Kelly, Kit Branca, Pippa Morgan, Griffin Wilson, Kendall O’Hoppe, Owen Gluck, and Madeline Wigglesworth.
