    Metro-North sets new rules as NYC starts reopening
    As New York City starts the first phase of reopening, Metro-North has some new protocols for people riding its trains. The new rules start on Monday, June 8, 2020, the day after New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio the city's first curfew in decades. The first phase of reopening comes after more than two months of shutdowns because of the coronavirus.     The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced Saturday, June 6, 2020 that in state parks and forests will begin on July 8, Campers with recreational vehicles will be able to keep their reservations for dates starting July 1, with reopening for both tent and RV camping on July 8. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the camping season was scheduled to begin on May 11. Then in early May, DEEP delayed the opening to June 11. At the time it said further extensions were possible "depending on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic."
