Houlihan Lawrence has announced the appointment of Amanda Bryan Briggs as new manager of its Darien brokerage. Briggs, who has 13 years of experience in real estate, has been managing Houlihan Lawrence's New Canaan office since 2015. Briggs takes over for Jeff Kelly, who was recently promoted to regional vice president of Houlihan Lawrence. "Amanda set an ambitious course for growth in New Canaan and I am thrilled to welcome her to Darien," said Jeff Kelly, "She is someone I trust and admire, and I have every confidence in her management abilities." Briggs joined Houlihan Lawrence in 2015 when Kelly Associates became affiliated with the brand. Prior to that, she was with William Pitt Sotheby's office in Darien. Before her career in real estate, Briggs worked in private wealth management for Credit Suisse. She holds an MBA from Columbia University Business School. "I am excited to lead the top team of agents in Darien and build upon the Kelly family's legacy of excellence," said Amanda Briggs, "As the new manager I will aim to maintain and deepen the culture of collaboration and innovation that exists in the office." Briggs is on the executive board of the New Canaan Board of Realtors, a member of Connecticut Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Darien Board of Realtors, Darien Multiple Listing Service, New Canaan Board of Realtors, Greater Fairfield County CMLS, and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global real estate network affiliation. A resident of New Canaan, Briggs is a member of the Stamford Yacht Club.
