Two charged after argument at Darien Person-to-Person
Two people were arrested Oct. 26 at Person-to-Person, 1864 Post Road, Darien, when a woman mentioned a gun during a dispute with the organization, according to police.
Jessica Bocchetta, 31, of 388 Cortland Ave., Stamford, was arrested on a charge of breach of peace when she told workers at Person-to-Person that she had a gun, according to the report. Police said she was upset after being told there were no case workers to help her at the time.
Also arrested was John Wixson, 44, of 76 Alpine St., Stamford, who was the driver of the van in which Bocchetta arrived. Wixson was charged with five counts of weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers searched Wixson's van, and while they did not find a gun, they retrieved three brass knuckles, a BB gun, a stun gun, small baggies with heroin residue, needles and tools used for breaking into parking meters, according to the report. Police also found a set of handcuffs and several masks.
Both were released on promise to appear in court Nov. 5.
