Two artists in exhibition at Atria Darien

She studied piano and voice for many years, but her work with visual art did not start until she had moved to the U.S.
Since then, she has studied at the Silvermine School of Art, Greenwich Arts Society and the Art Students League. She has mentored with Frank O'Cain and Bruce Dorfman and has taught and led workshops for all ages and abilities. In 2013, she was an artist in residence at the Byrdcliffe Art Colony in Woodstock, N.Y. Jacobsen exhibits her paintings in Connecticut and New York City.
Nagle is a painter and mixed-media artist, but also explores printmaking and sculpture.
Her work has been presented in many galleries throughout Fairfield County. She earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the San Francisco Art Institute.
Jacobsen is a therapeutic program leader at Waveny Lifecare Network in New Canaan.
The two artists met when Nagle began volunteering as an art therapy assistant at Waveny.
