Philip Palma, 53, of Norwalk and Louis Montanez, 50, of Norwalk were arrested in connection with a larceny Feb. 25.

Palma was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, police said. Montanez was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, police said.

Palma and Montanez worked in the woodshed at Ring's End Lumber where they would occasionally offer to sell items for cash, police said. A complaint was filed by the yard foreman on Feb. 4; police believe Ring's End was defrauded of almost $10,000.

Both men posted a $500 bond and are scheduled to appear in court on March 7.
