A 17-year-old was arrested for possession of marijuana, sale of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 9.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling on the Post Road at 1:48 a.m. without a front or back license plate. After pulling the vehicle over, the officer searched the operator of the vehicle but found nothing on him, police said.

The officer found rolling papers and a cigar blunt on the passenger. A further search of the car found marijuana residue in the center console and a backpack and duffel bag in the trunk of the car, police said. The duffel bag contained two glass bowls with marijuana residue and the backpack contained nine brownies laced with marijuana and a container with seven grams of marijuana, police said.

The 17-year-old posted a $190 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on May 18.
