An Ox Ridge kindergarten class got up close and personal with the farm animals at the Stamford Nature Center recently.

Students from Jennifer Trifiatis' class also learned how to make apple cider at the Stamford Nature Center. They inserted their apples into the hopper and watched the apples "hop" while someone turns the crank. This is the first part of the apple cider making process.

Stamford Museum & Nature Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of art, the natural and agricultural sciences, and history.
