Police are investigating the disappearance of a necklace with a cross valued at $5,000 from a Darien home. A resident of Blueberry Lane contacted police on March 27 to report the jewelry missing, along with a second necklace valued at $150.

The 53-year-old victim told police she was away from home on March 24 while another family member held a party for at least 60 guests. She returned at 10 p.m. the following evening and discovered that the jewelry was missing from her bedroom. No suspects have been identified, but police are still investigating the theft.
