Game console stolen in home burglary
A locked Henry Street home was burglarized Oct. 23 when a 10-year-old XBox gaming console was taken, according to Darien police
The complainant told police that the last person left the house at 7:10 a.m. When she returned at 7:15 p.m., she saw the dining room air-conditioning unit had been pushed into the house and that the window was wide open, according to the report.
Believing that someone may have gained entry, the woman searched the house but did not see anything missing, police said.
However, when her husband arrived home 15 minutes later, he noticed that the gaming console was missing from next to the television, according to police.
