A busy week for the Greens Farms Academy varsity sports teams was capped off with the Dragons going undefeated on their home turf during Saturday’s Homecoming festivities.

Boys soccer, girls soccer and field hockey all won in front of big crowds during Saturday’s outdoor triple-header on the Dragons’ turf field.

Here’s a rundown of the week’s events:

The fact GFA had five girls runners gave them two wins in the meet, topping St. Luke’s and The Masters School.

It was GFA’s first dual meet victories since 2015 on the girls side.

GFA scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 win over The Gunnery on Homecoming Saturday.

The win came one year after GFA saw a 3-0 lead disappear in a 4-3 overtime loss to The Gunnery.

The Dragons outshot their opponent 11-5 and also won a battle of corners by a 5-4 count.

Gaolies Nikki Farber (Westport) and Rikeh Saignbe (Bridgeport) combined to make five stops.

The Dragons face The Westover School for their only match of the week.
