More showers are forecast today, particularly this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.

The greatest threat of rain in southwestern Connecticut is after 2 p.m. until about 8 p.m. Skies will be cloudy with a daytime high temperature in the mid-60s. There will be a north wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Tonight, scattered showers are possible before 8 p.m., but gradually clearing later. The low temperature will fall to about 50 degrees.

Tomorrow should be sunny, with a high near 70 degrees and a north wind between 8 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph, the NWS says. Nighttime will be clear with a low about 46 degrees.

Thursday will also be sunny, with a high near 63 degrees. The overnight low will be around 42.

And Friday, the weather service predicts, will be sunny, with a high near 63 degrees.
