The Rev. Dr. William Rankin, president emeritus of Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance, returns to Saint Luke's Church on Sunday, Nov. 18, to speak during the Discovery Hour.

A longtime outreach partner of the parish. Rankin will speak from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall on the topic of "Fighting HIV, TB and Malaria in African Villages: A GAIA Update."

In response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa, GAIA provides life-saving services in rural villages in Malawi. As part of Saint Luke's Forward in Faith capital campaign, the church joined with GAIA to "adopt" three Malawian villages of Nsona, Kanyandula and Mphuchila for a three-year period.
