While today will be sunny in southwestern Connecticut, the National Weather Service predicts the daytime high temperature will not even reach 50 degrees.

Thermometer readings will be only in the high-40s, the NWS says, with a north wind at 9 mph, later becoming southeast.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 36 degrees. There will be a south wind between 3 and 5 mph.

Tomorrow will also be sunny, with a warming trend settling over the region. The daytime high should be in the upper-50s and there will be a south wind between 3 and 9 mph, according to the NWS. Tomorrow night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 43 degrees.

Monday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high again in the upper-50s. There is an overnight chance of showers, mainly after midnight. The low temperature will be around 48 degrees.

Tuesday, the weather service says showers are likely under cloudy skies, with a high near 58 degrees.
