Darien celebrates with 13th Annual Push-N-Pull Parade
DARIEN — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6933 of Darien sponsored the 13th annual 4th of July Push-N-Pull Parade in Darien.
On Independence Day, parade-goers came out in their best patriotic attire with wagons, bikes and strollers decorated in red, white and blue. Incoming Darien High School freshmen Alyse Wright-Webb and Shea Ehrhard served as volunteer judges, handing out prizes for best-decorated bikes and wagons, as well as most-patriotic family.
The Austen siblings took most patriotic family and Isabel Wolf, Jackson Walker and the Micolo family all won for best decorations.
Parade participants then marched from the Goodwives Shopping Plaza to Tilly Pond where they enjoyed fare from food trucks and music.
