"How Safe Are We?" program
On Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., two former CIA operatives will assess the effectiveness of federal, state and city programs underway to protect the U.S. against future terror attacks.
This is an informative evening featuring former CIA covert officers David Hunt and Joe Wippl, who will participate in a panel moderated by Jerry Goodwin, president of the NY Chapter of the Association of Former Officers. They will examine the steps taken by the New York Police Department, some controversial, to protect the city, improve their international coverage and discuss what is being done today to fight the war on terror. After the panel discussion the presenters will be available for questions on any other aspect of intelligence.
Free to DCA Members, $10 for guests.

Second annual indoor mini golf event
On Saturday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m., the DCA will once again be transformed into a miniature golf course where children of all ages will be able to play 18 holes with family and
friends while enjoying light refreshments. The day will begin with a special program for the Challenger children at 9 a.m. and then open to the general public
at 10 a.m. Greens fees are $5 per person, $20 per family
For the first time, this year there will be a 19th hole putting contest for those interested in being named the DCA's putting champion. The top four winners will be awarded prizes.
