According to CSP’s Thanksgiving holiday traffic statistics from Saturday, the following incidents were reported on the road:
Calls for service: 1,538
Speeding violations: 135
Seatbelt violations: 55
Other hazardous violations: 94 (Includes unsafe lane change, following too closely, cell phone usage, and other violations.)
DUI arrests: 11
Accidents investigated: 123
Accidents with reported injuries: 6
Serious injuries: 0
Fatalities: 0
Additionally, CSP reported the following Thanksgiving holiday traffic statistics from Wednesday, Nov. 24 through Saturday, Nov. 27:
Calls for service: 5,949
Speeding violations: 334
Seatbelt violations: 72
Other hazardous violations: 429 (Includes unsafe lane change, following too closely, cell phone usage, and other violations.)
DUI arrests: 41
Accidents investigated: 426
Accidents with reported injuries: 36
Serious injuries: 0
Fatalities: 1
