The drive-through is open at the eastern edge of Darien on the Norwalk border. Blue Wave Taco opened in November in the former home of Palmwich, Real Food Drive Thru at 205 Boston Post Road.

The Blue Wave Taco menu includes California-style tacos, burritos and other “killer beach chow,” according to its Facebook page. The Greenwich-based private equity firm Palm Ventures won rights last year to the Blue Wave Taco trademark.

The technology repair shop uBreakiFix has opened a fourth Connecticut location at 1761 Post Road E. in Westport.

Owner Daniel Lew has existing uBreakiFix stores in Norwalk and Darien, with plans to open two more.

The store offers repair services for cracked screens, water damage, software issues and other technical problems. uBreakiFix has nearly 350 franchised locations nationally, with 700 more in development.

The state has launched a new tax amnesty program called CT Fresh Start, with the goal of recouping $85 million in back taxes owed by residents and businesses.

Under the program that runs through November, the state Department of Revenue Services will waive penalties and reduce interest owed by half. For details, go to or call 877-729-6691.

The Italian Center of Stamford has appointed Gina Blum, Jackie Cameron and Adrianna Rosner to its board of directors.

Blum has been an Italian Center member for 16 years. Her leadership roles include serving as a board committee member, treasurer of the Preschool Mothers’ Club board and captain of the women’s tennis and paddle teams. She is executive director of At Home In Darien, a nonprofit organization that helps senior citizens live independently.

Cameron has been a member since 1997, and has been involved in the tennis program and fitness center. More recently, she helped establish the Women’s Platform Tennis program. She runs a landscape design business, Jackie Cameron Landscape Design LLC.

Rosner has been a member since 2013. She has served as a member of the House, Preschool and Interior Design committees and the Preschool Mothers’ Club board. Rosner previously was senior vice president of Playboy’s global licensing group.
