Breakfast on the go! The Depot provides hot breakfast for commuters at Darien’s train stations
The Depot Youth Center provided free breakfast sandwiches for commuters last Friday, Dec. 13.
The hot breakfast sandwiches, donated by Uncle’s, were provided to commuters at both the Darien Train Station in downtown Darien and Noroton Heights Train Station right next to the Depot. Uncle’s Deli owner Rob Williamson is a former assistant director of the Depot.
Heights Pizza also donated pizza bags.
The sandwiches were provided between 5:30 a.m. through 8 a.m. and will be free of charge for commuters — but The Depot will be accepting donations.
