Preparations are under way for the 10th annual Holiday Boutique at the Darien Community Association.

This year, more than 40 vendors will sell their wares. Merchandise includes stocking stuffers, antiques, handbags, designer leather gloves, belts, scarves, shawls, table linens, infant and childrens' wear, home goods, jewelry in many price ranges, stationery, women's clothing and shoes, artwork, decorative decoupage items, ornaments, tote bags, crystal nail files, stickpins, candles, wallets, toys, flatware, and decorative mirrors and pillows.

As in years past, the historic home of the DCA, Meadowlands, 274 Middlesex Road, will be decorated for the holidays in time for shopping at the sale. The hours of the boutique will be on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shopping at the boutique will support the DCA's mission, including its scholarship program for Darien High School seniors and returning college students.
