A diamond ring was reported stolen from a Charles Street residence after the owner noticed it missing from a drawer in her bedroom.

The ring, which had a gold band and solitaire diamond and was valued at $5,000, was reported missing April 3. The ring was stored in a dresser drawer in the owner's bedroom and was last seen around Christmas 2011, police said. During the time the ring was in the bedroom numerous workers and other individuals were also in the home, police said.
