Officials working to fix discolored water in Hamden
HAMDEN — Officials with the Regional Water Authority are working to address discolored water in parts of Hamden Friday morning.
“We have crews out working to resolve temporarily discolored water in parts of Hamden. We recommend you wait until the water clears before drinking it, showering or washing laundry,” RWA officials said on Twitter just after 9 a.m. “Immunocompromised persons can seek advice from their health care providers about discolored water.”
Mayor Curt B. Leng suggested any residents with discolored water issues call the RWA at 203-562-4020.
